Music

I am a professionally trained vocalist across multiple genres including Musical Theatre, Jazz, Blues, Soul, Pop and Rock.  

I am a good sightreader, have an excellent ear and am as much at home in a recording studio as in a live performance setting. I sing professionally with the London Musical Theatre Orchestra as well as at their monthly play throughs.  I have been a member of several close harmony groups and have performed as a principal soloist at various concerts and events across the UK.

I have performed as a choral singer all over the world in venues including: St Peter's Basilica, Rome; Notre Dame, Paris and Ground Zero, New York.  I have also recorded several times for BBC Radio Four's Daily Service as a member of a SSAA chamber choir and as a principal soloist. 

I am passionate about the development of new musical theatre and have workshopped and demoed new work for multiple companies as well as individual writers over the past few years.  I have presented new songs at various MMD and Pitch Perfect events and am always keen to be introduced to new writers and new work!

Radio

I've been working in radio for over 15 years recording various afternoon plays and dramas for BBC Radio Four.  I worked with BBC Producer Peter Leslie Wild for 5 years playing roles in plays including:  

• Fanny in "A Confirmed Bachelor"
• Girl in "Rainbow Bridge"
• The Tree in "Tree Splitting"
• Princess Elizabeth in "Gunpowder Women"

During this time, I auditioned for and was subsequently cast in the role of Izzy Blake in "The Archers".  I played this part for six years up until I started drama school in 2010.
